Welcome to the Katie Mairead Dance School offering Ballet & Modern Theatre/Jazz Dance in Mayo & Sligo. All teaching staff are fully qualified and Garda vetted. We offer fun, friendly dance classes for children from 3 years upwards, whether your child is enjoying the thrill of their first dance class or pursuing a career in dance, our goal is to provide a supportive and relaxed environment and to nuture their talent and individuality in order for your child to achieve their personal best.

The Katie Mairead School of Dance provides classes in Acrobatic Arts Dance and Classical Ballet for all ages from Pre-Primary to Advanced. Our classes are run by qualified ballet and dance teacher Katie Fahey who has qualifications in RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) and IBDP (Irish Board of Dance Performance) and the Acrobatics Arts Association.
At our school, we welcome children from 3 years of age to the magical world of dance, from their first steps in a dance studio through to their pre-professional training. We offer classical ballet training and Modern Theatre dance in a friendly and encouraging environment. Children are entered for yearly certified Dance examinations, alongside this we also run a reward & recognition scheme whereby students are consistently assessed and can receive both graded and vocational level exams.
