Who We Are
Our teaching philosophy
At the Katie Mairead Dance School our aim is to ensure that your child's dance class is a fun and rewarding experience and suitable for every skill level. To support this philosophy we offer a dance reward system that supports a structured progression through all aspects of dance, from technique and performance to good manners and attire. Each of our dancers will be assessed at the end of the year and receive a dance report and an A4 colour certificate as a keepsake.
Our young dancers will be encouraged to learn how to be more confident when they are dancing with the rest of their class. Because dance requires technical skills and perseverance, dancers can benefit from practicing and watching themselves as they progress through the skill levels. This confidence can be applied to many other parts of their life, and can help to promote a positive outlook on life and self-awareness that many young children can benefit from for years to come.
